Air Products Colombia (Cryogas) is seeking a Project Construction Technician to join the Engineering and Execution team in Sibate. You will supervise field construction activities, ensure work is performed per plans, specs, and schedules, and promote a strong safety culture.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in supervising industrial civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works, with willingness to travel and interpret AutoCAD drawings.

• Technical formation in Civil Construction, Mechanical, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience supervising industrial civil, mechanical, electrical, and control works.
• Willingness to travel and read blueprints (AutoCAD drawings).

Responsabilités

• Supervise field construction activities in civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and field teams.
• Monitor progress, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with technical specs, standards, and schedules.
• Verify materials, equipment, and services used in project execution.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental standards across sites.
• Report progress and communicate risks or deviations to stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams and support project implementation.

Nos encontramos en búsqueda de un Técnico(a) de Construcción de Proyectos para integrarse al área de Ingeniería y Ejecución en Sibate. La persona será responsable de supervisar y coordinar las actividades de construcción en campo, asegurando que los trabajos se ejecuten de acuerdo con los planos, especificaciones técnicas, cronogramas y estándares corporativos establecidos. Además, tendrá un rol key en el seguimiento diario de la ejecución de proyectos, contribuyendo al cumplimiento de plazos, control de costos y promoción de una cultura de seguridad en todas las etapas de la construcción.

Principales responsabilidades

• Supervisar actividades de construcción industrial en las disciplinas civil, mecánica, eléctrica e instrumentación.
• Coordinar y supervisar contratistas y equipos de trabajo en campo.
• Monitorear el avance de las actividades, identificando desviaciones y proponiendo acciones correctivas.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento de las especificaciones técnicas, normas aplicables y estándares corporativos.
• Verificar materiales, equipos y servicios utilizados durante la ejecución de los proyectos.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de las normas de Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente.
• Reportar el avance de los trabajos y comunicar oportunidades de mejora, riesgos o desviaciones técnicas.
• Brindar orientación técnica a los equipos de campo y apoyar la implementación de los proyectos.

Requisitos

• Formación técnica en Construcción Civil, Mecánica o áreas afines.
• Entre 3 y 5 años de experiencia en supervisión de obras industriales civiles, mecánicas, eléctricas y de control.
• Disponibilidad para viajar.
• Interpretación de planos en AutoCAD.
• Manejo de Microsoft Office.
• Capacidad para interpretar proyectos constructivos, topográficos y estudios de suelo.
• Experiencia supervisando equipos de empresas contratistas en campo.
• Conocimiento de buenas prácticas constructivas y cumplimiento de normas sismorresistentes.
• Deseable conocimiento de MS Project y De SAP ERP.
• Inglés y español a nivel básico.
• Licencia de conducir categoría B1 deseable.
