Now Hiring: Team Lead – AWS Cloud & MS SQL Infrastructure (Remote | LATAM)

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Team Lead to drive excellence across our AWS cloud infrastructure and Microsoft SQL Server environments. This is a high‑impact leadership role for a senior professional passionate about performance, scalability, and operational reliability.

🌎 Location: Remote (LATAM – position to be posted in Colombia)

🗣️ Languages Required: Advanced English (C1 level – mandatory) and Spanish (fluency required)

Role Overview

As the Team Lead, you will oversee a specialized team of 2 DBAs and 2 AWS Cloud Engineers, acting as the primary point of contact for all infrastructure and performance‑related initiatives. You will play a critical role in ensuring platform health, optimizing performance (including Apdex scores), and driving continuous improvements across systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DBAs and AWS Cloud Engineers
• Own infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability
• Maintain and improve Apdex scores and system performance
• Define and execute a roadmap of continuous improvements
• Oversee a distributed Microsoft .NET application across EC2 instances
• Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments
• Monitor systems using New Relic to identify bottlenecks and improvements
• Deliver weekly reports on system health and performance
• Plan workloads, schedules, and on‑call rotations
• Collaborate cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, Route 53, Load Balancing)
• Experience with Cloudflare for performance and security optimization
• Proficiency with New Relic (observability & monitoring)
• Solid experience supporting Microsoft .NET applications
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server environments
• Strong background in performance tuning, scalability, and reliability
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level required) and Spanish
