The role requires 4–7 years of Tableau development experience, strong SQL skills, and a solid understanding of healthcare data sources like EHR and claims data.

Responsibilities

• Create complex calculations, parameters, and LOD expressions for advanced Tableau visualizations.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Perform dashboard performance tuning for large healthcare datasets.
• Create technical documentation and provide end-user training as needed.

We are seeking a talented Tableau Developer with Healthcare domain experience to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience developing Tableau dashboards and reports, with a strong understanding of healthcare data, clinical operations, patient outcomes, claims data, and regulatory reporting. This role will partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineering teams to deliver actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reports for healthcare stakeholders.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable reporting and visualization solutions.
• Develop dashboards supporting clinical, operational, financial, quality, and population health initiatives.
• Work with healthcare datasets including:
• Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Claims and Billing Data
• Provider Performance Metrics
• Population Health Data
• Quality Measures (HEDIS, CMS, NCQA)
• Create complex calculations, parameters, Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, and advanced Tableau visualizations.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Perform dashboard performance tuning and optimization for large healthcare datasets.
• Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with healthcare reporting standards.
• Create technical documentation and provide end-user training as needed.
• Support ad hoc reporting and analytics requests from healthcare business users.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of hands-on experience with Tableau Development.
• 2+ years of experience working in the Healthcare industry.
• Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Cloud.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large relational databases.
• Experience designing healthcare analytics, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional data modeling concepts.
• Experience integrating data from multiple healthcare systems and sources.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
