Harrison County School District is seeking a School Bus Driver for a 4-hour daily schedule. The position is a full-time, 182-day contract located at 11 Transportation. Salary ranges from $12,456.08 to $15,651.09, depending on experience and district guidelines.

The driver must possess a Class B Commercial Driver License with the P endorsement, pass required trainings, and maintain a clean driving record. DOT screening and daily pre/post inspections are required.

Formación

• Criminal background check required for all personnel.
• Must have a satisfactory employment record.
• Ability to demonstrate and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess or obtain Class B CDL with P endorsement.
• Must pass school district and Mississippi Dept. of Education training.
• Driving record with no more than two traffic violations in 3 years.
• Insurable by district insurance carrier.

Responsabilidades

• Obeys all traffic laws.
• Observes mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
• Maintain discipline on the bus without compromising safety.
• Complete all bus-related reports and inspections.
• Keep assigned bus clean and mirrors adjusted.
• Conduct bus evacuation drills during the school year.
• Report hazards to Transportation Supervisor.
• Drive with defensive driving and good judgment at all times.
• Follow planned routes and schedules as set by Transportation Supervisor.
