JITECH Inc. is seeking a Structural Steel Detailer to develop accurate 3D models and fabrication drawings using SDS2. You will review contract documents, incorporate revisions, and prepare detailing deliverables supporting fabrication and erection activities.

Work within the Project Execution team, coordinating with modelers, checkers, and engineers to ensure consistent project information and timely delivery. Strong English communication and familiarity with industry standards are required.

Formación

• Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in structural steel detailing.
• Experience using SDS2 for modeling and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret structural/architectural drawings and contract documents.
• Knowledge of structural detailing practices and relevant codes (AISC, AWS, IBC).
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Office, Teams and Planner.

Responsabilidades

• Generate and edit fabrication shop drawings for steel fabricators.
• Review drawings and contract documents to understand detailing requirements.
• Maintain consistency between contract documents and detailing deliverables.
• Create erection drawings to support field assembly and editing.
• Prepare material take-offs and related project information.
• Coordinate detailing information with team members and project management.
• Self-review drawings and address reviewer comments in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized project information and adhere to JITECH standards.
• Take ownership and support continuous improvement of detailing quality.
