JITECH is seeking a Structural Steel Detailer to advance 3D modeling and fabrication drawings using SDS2. You will collaborate with the Project Execution team to ensure accurate detailing and responsive coordination across disciplines.

Strong emphasis on drawing accuracy and adherence to detailing standards is required. Responsibilities include creating erection drawings, material take-offs, and coordinating revisions with modelers and engineers.

Formación

• Associate degree or higher in Civil/Structural Tech preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in structural steel detailing or related role.
• Experience with SDS2 detailing and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret structural/architectural drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with AISC, AWS, and IBC codes is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Generate and edit fabrication shop drawings for steel fabricators.
• Review drawings and contract documents to understand scope and detailing requirements.
• Maintain consistency between contract documents and detailing deliverables.
• Create erection drawings and support material take-offs as needed.
• Coordinate with modelers, checkers, and project team to ensure accuracy.
