Job summary

adidas in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager for an 8-month assignment. You will lead end-to-end sourcing projects, manage risks, and drive savings while ensuring policy compliance and stakeholder alignment.

The role requires a proven background in indirect procurement, strong analytics, and fluency in English and Spanish. Excel and eSourcing experience (Ariba preferred) are highly valued, with collaboration across Global/Local procurement and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or supply chain; Master’s preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Procurement, strategic sourcing or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement/eSourcing systems; Ariba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the assigned procurement sourcing projects portfolio, managing priorities, risks, timelines, SLAs, savings and documentation quality.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects from request intake through supplier award and project closure.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives with defined approaches, budgets, and stakeholder alignment while managing supplier risks.
• Lead competitive eSourcing events, including RfX, negotiations and award recommendations.
• Drive stakeholder decisions, evaluations and approvals, resolving alignment gaps and supplier challenges.
• Lead contract finalization for projects with business and Legal inputs.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Deliver procurement savings and SLAs via high-quality project execution and accurate reporting.
• Identify process improvements and standardization opportunities in alignment with category leaders.
