Job summary

adidas Bogotá is seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager for an 8-month engagement. You will own sourcing projects, lead end-to-end procurement initiatives, and drive savings while ensuring policy compliance and stakeholder alignment across Global Business Services.

The role requires experience in indirect procurement, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships in a multi-national environment. Fluent English and Spanish are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, supply chain, or a comparable field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in Procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and procurement/eSourcing systems (Ariba preferred).
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Own the assigned procurement sourcing projects portfolio with priorities, timelines, and savings.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects from request intake to supplier award and closure.
• Define sourcing approaches, align requirements, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead eSourcing events with RfX, market analysis, and negotiations.
• Drive stakeholder decisions, resolve alignment gaps, and manage supplier risks.
• Lead contract finalization with Legal to reflect agreed scope and terms.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain records in systems.
• Deliver procurement savings and KPIs through high-quality execution.
• Identify process improvements and standardization opportunities.
• Coach and guide Senior Specialists; manage performance where applicable.
