SearchApi is actively hiring a browser engineer to patch Chromium and Firefox at the C++ source level, maintain our in‑house patched‑browser cloud, and own the fingerprint surface that keeps automation indistinguishable from a real user on a real machine.

You will work deep in engine internals, fix evasions, and build tooling to test patches. This is a fully remote role with high autonomy and impact on our stealth browser stack.

Formación

• Strong C++ with ability to read and modify a large, unfamiliar codebase and build system.
• Experience patching browser engines (Chromium/Firefox) or stealth tooling.
• Understanding browser fingerprinting and spoofing at the implementation level.

Responsabilidades

• Own the browser stack: maintain and evolve the in-house patched-browser cloud with per-OS fingerprint profiles.
• Patch the engine to ensure spoofed values appear native; fix navigators and hints at the source.
• Eliminate CDP leaks and reduce detection signals without breaking control.
• Align geolocation, timezone, and locale for consistency across surfaces.
• Build tooling to test evasions and catch regressions before customers see them.
