At BairesDev, we’re a remote-first tech company delivering cutting-edge software solutions globally. We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Apache Pulsar) to design and operate real-time data pipelines in distributed environments.
You will work with multi-tenant Pulsar deployments, geo-replication, and high-availability clusters, shipping producer and consumer applications, while maintaining low latency and strong data consistency.
Formación
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Distributed Systems.
- Proven expertise building and operating distributed messaging/streaming systems with Apache Pulsar.
- Hands-on experience implementing native multi-tenancy and geo-replication for streaming workloads.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Responsabilidades
- Design and implement scalable messaging solutions using Apache Pulsar and BookKeeper.
- Manage and optimize Pulsar clusters, brokers, and bookies for high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain producer and consumer applications for real-time stream processing.
- Configure and govern multi-tenant environments with isolated namespaces and access policies.
- Implement geo-replication strategies to ensure data consistency and disaster recovery across regions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to distributed messaging patterns and storage layers.
