Clara Lending Co. is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to lead the Internal Developer Platform, standardize CI/CD, and shape FinOps. You’ll manage a multi-country Kubernetes setup on EKS, support Kafka-based event streams, and drive secure, scalable infrastructure across MX/CO/BR.

Hybrid work with on-call rotations is expected. The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong AWS/Kubernetes/Kafka experience, and a track record in security and compliance.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE, preferably fintech or regulated environments.
• Experience with multi-account, multi-region AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM).
• Kubernetes on Amazon EKS in production, including scaling and networking.
• Kafka/MSK production experience: topic design, consumer groups, performance tuning.
• Built Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and CI/CD standardization (GitHub Actions, runners).
• Observability and incident management (Datadog) and applying DORA metrics.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, adoption, and improvement of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
• Design and implement FinOps strategies across AWS and tooling.
• Operate and evolve the Kubernetes platform on EKS for multi-country workloads.
• Support Kafka/MSK-based event-driven architecture and async processing.
• Advise on scalable, secure infrastructure and reduce technical debt.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve monitoring/MTTR.
