Insight Global is seeking a Senior React Native Mobile Developer for a leading digital commerce client in Bogotá. This hands-on role focuses on the mobile experience for millions of customers across iOS and Android.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in React Native and TypeScript, with strong knowledge of mobile architecture, API integrations, authentication, payments, testing, and performance optimization.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong React Native development experience for cross-platform mobile applications.
• Advanced TypeScript experience.
• Experience developing and shipping consumer-facing ecommerce apps.
• Experience with token-based authentication flows.
• Experience with payments integrations (Adyen, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
• Experience with Expo ecosystem and Expo Application Services (EAS).
• QSR industry experience is a significant plus.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior React Native Mobile Developer for a leading digital commerce client. This individual will join a highly technical team focused on enhancing a mobile application used by millions of customers to browse menus, place orders, manage loyalty rewards, locate nearby stores, and complete purchases through a seamless checkout experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who spends the majority of the day actively developing features and improving mobile experiences across both iOS and Android platforms. This role requires deep expertise in React Native and TypeScript, experience building consumer-facing e-commerce applications, and a strong understanding of mobile architecture, API integrations, authentication, payments, testing, and performance optimization. Experience within the QSR industry is a significant plus. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a large-scale, high-traffic mobile application while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver polished customer experiences. This is a 6-month ongoing contract.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong React Native development experience for cross-platform mobile applications
• Advanced TypeScript experience
• Experience developing and shipping mobile apps on both iOS and Android
• Hands-on coding experience with React Native architecture
• Redux Toolkit or similar state management experience
• Experience with React Navigation
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend integrations
• Experience with token-based authentication flows
• Mobile application testing experience (unit, component, and end-to-end testing)
• Experience publishing applications to the App Store and/or Google Play Store
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting mobile applications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• eCommerce Experience
• Worked on platforms where you add to cart & checkout
• QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry experience
• Experience with payment integrations (Adyen, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
• AWS Cognito experience
• Expo ecosystem and Expo Application Services (EAS)
• MMKV local storage experience
• GitHub Actions and Fastlane CI/CD experience
• LaunchDarkly or other feature flag platforms
• Mobile analytics platforms (Sentry, Adobe Experience Platform, Quantum Metric)
• BrowserStack and Maestro testing tools
• Native iOS knowledge (Swift/Objective-C)
• Native Android knowledge (Kotlin/Java)
• Internationalization (i18n) and multilingual application support
• OneTrust or privacy/consent management tools
• SSL certificate pinning and mobile security experience
• Experience working with teams in North or South America
