Overview

On behalf of our client in the gaming and entertainment industry, Affinity is seeking a Senior QA Lead (AI) to join their team in Bogotá, Colombia. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team behind one of the most beloved creative game franchises while advancing the future of AI-driven quality assurance.

As a Senior QA Lead (AI), you will lead the implementation of cutting-edge testing strategies, drive AI innovation in QA processes, and mentor a globally distributed team. You will play a critical role in shaping the quality vision for game and software development, while fostering collaboration across multiple locations and disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute advanced testing and automation strategies aligned with project goals.
• Leverage AI tools and modern methodologies to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and insight.
• Implement robust quality processes to ensure product excellence.
• Align quality strategies with overall product and business objectives.
• Lead AI/ML initiatives within QA to create measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, or player experience.
• Architect and deliver data science or automation projects that drive transformation.
• Perform deep investigations and root cause analyses to drive process improvements.
• Use data to inform risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (development, production, etc.) to align on quality objectives.
• Ensure smooth communication across locations and time zones to support effective delivery.
• Mentor team members in quality best practices and technical innovation.
• Support the growth of the Quality Design community and promote the integration of AI capabilities.
• Ensure projects stay on track and meet defined goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including experience in QA leadership roles.
• Proven expertise implementing AI-driven testing solutions or data science applications in QA contexts.
• Strong ability to translate metrics into strategic, data-driven decisions.
• Experience collaborating with remote or multi-time zone teams.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and guide across levels.
• Passion for innovation, quality, and fostering inclusive creative environments.
• English level: B2+ (spoken and written).

Additional Details

• Work Model: Onsite in Bogotá (Salitre area)
• Hours: Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
• Compensation: Competitive salary of 20M/month COP plus benefits, including medical, dental, and life insurance, meal allowances, and professional development programs.
