Monks is seeking a Senior Production Designer in Bogotá, Colombia. You will lead the development of innovative digital ads and assets for a major packaged goods client, balancing speed, style, and scale across platforms.

You will craft style proposals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior designers. You will push art direction, translate briefs into execution-ready briefs, and ensure pixel-perfect, brand-compliant output for social media, POS, and campaigns.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Designer in digital/advertising environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Robust portfolio showcasing digital design and advertising materials.
• Experience managing all stages from concept to execution.
• Strong typography, grid systems, interaction design, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client collaboration.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Hands-on experience creating print-ready POS files with InDesign/Illustrator.
• Familiarity with current social media trends for modern visuals.
• Interest in evolving AI and automation in creative work.
• Collaborative mindset to guide junior designers.
• Bonus: After Effects, UX/UI, and basic HTML/CSS.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) for global teams.

As a Senior Designer, you will lead the development of innovative digital ads and assets for one of the world's largest packaged goods companies. This role demands expertise in balancing speed, style, and scale to produce high-quality visual content that resonates across multiple platforms. Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of style proposals, concept mockups, and prototypes to initiate compelling design projects for products, features, and campaigns.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, ensuring all designs meet client expectations and adhere strictly to brand guidelines.

• Execute and continuously enhance art direction while providing innovative ideas and best practices to optimize the creative process.

• Translate complex creative briefs into actionable, thorough design briefs that seamlessly inform the execution process.

• Ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs, maintaining rigorous quality and an unwavering attention to detail at all times.

• Specialise in crafting engaging interactive assets tailored for social media and diverse digital channels.

• Create seamless designs and technical setups for typical POS print media.

• Stay actively informed about cultural trends, incorporating fresh insights into your designs to ensure maximum relevance and appeal.

• Elevate brand storytelling by masterfully combining aesthetics with functionality in both static visual content and motion graphics.

• Mentor and support junior designers, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback to foster their skill development within the team.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, proactively prioritizing tasks to meet fast-paced deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

About You

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Designer, ideally within a digital or fast-paced advertising environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• A robust portfolio showcasing your profound expertise in digital design and advertising materials.

• Proven experience managing all stages of the design process, from initial concept development to final execution.

• Deep understanding of fundamental design principles, including typography, grid systems, interaction design, and visual storytelling.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for collaborating seamlessly with clients and team members.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly adapting to changing project needs and shifting priorities.

• Hands-on experience creating print-ready files for POS using InDesign/Illustrator.

• Strong familiarity with current social media trends and best practices for creating modern visual content.

• A genuine interest—and borderline obsession—with evolving AI and automation technology and their creative applications.

• A collaborative spirit with the ability to successfully guide and encourage younger members of the design team.

• Bonus Skills: Experience with After Effects, UX/UI design principles, and basic front-end development (HTML/CSS) are highly valued.
