Job summary

Academy District 20 is seeking a SpEd Paraprofessional - Behavior at Timberview Middle School to independently implement behavior programs and model behavioral strategies for staff working with students with behavior challenges.

The role requires collaboration with the IEP team and behavior coordinator, maintaining data, and assisting with behavior plans to maximize student progress throughout the school year.

Responsibilities

• Reports consistently for work as scheduled.
• Implements established student behavior plans in a neutral and professional manner.
• Provides assistance in behavior management, including Nonviolent Crisis Intervention techniques.
• Monitors/observes students to support behavioral assessments.
• Maintains regular communication with teachers, SPED team, counselors, and administrators.
