AvantoDev is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge ambiguous business intent and deterministic specifications for data and agentic projects. You will deconstruct complex processes into precise requirements for data and AI engineers, owning artifacts from EARS to Gherkin acceptance criteria.

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst / Technical BA, with 3+ years on data-intensive projects.
• Strong SQL - profile data, validate hypotheses, write queries.
• Demonstrated requirements engineering: user stories, acceptance criteria, formal techniques.
• Data modeling literacy: read and contribute to data dictionaries, schema specs.
• BPMN or equivalent process modeling; map workflows and automation opportunities.
• Familiar with modern data/AI stack (RAG, vector DBs, APIs) and where they fit.
• Tools: Jira, Confluence/Notion; maintain traceability matrices.
• English proficiency: B2+ required (C1 preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Run discovery sessions; produce EARS requirements, Gherkin acceptance criteria, and data mappings.
• Write SQL queries to profile and validate data and back requirements with evidence.
• Maintain requirements backlog and traceability in Jira and Notion.
• Partner with Data Engineers on schema/registry specs and source-to-target mappings.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers to define agent behavior and DoD for probabilistic outputs.
• Help scope sprints with the PM team and estimate sequencing.
• Build and execute UAT test cases; document defects with reproduction steps.
• Produce operational reporting specs and dashboards needs.
