Caseware is hiring a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join the Central Quality Engineering Function on the SE Platform team. The role focuses on scalable testing, automation, and developer enablement for a cloud-based SaaS platform.
Location: fully remote position located in Colombia. You will collaborate with product teams to embed quality across all development phases and contribute to CI/CD improvements, test data processes, and reliable test execution.

We’re hiring a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join the quality engineering team on one of Caseware’s SaaS Platform teams—driving scalable, modern approaches to testing, automation, and developer enablement. Reporting into the Central Quality function and working within the SE Platform team, this role is uniquely positioned to drive the quality strategy across foundational platform areas that underpin our most critical innovations.

Represent the team of Software Developers in Test (SDETs) who partner closely with product teams to embed quality into every phase of development—through tooling, automation, infrastructure, reporting and best practices.
Contribute within a modern quality strategy tailored to the demands of a rapidly scaling SaaS platform. Impact through improvements within the test pyramid, shifting away from sole UI-based validation towards lower levels of testing to increase reliability.
Enhance the stability and speed of our E2E tests by making improvements to test data setup processes, test isolation, and execution reliability. Ensuring quality is built in from development to deployment without sacrificing team velocity and promoting actionable test failure signals to shorten feedback loops and increase developer confidence. Champion tooling and practices that reduce flaky tests and noisy signals.
Work with the test team to ensure timely completion of functionality and enhancements as driven by the roadmaps for the team. Provide horizontal support across the test team where necessary to take the team to the finish line. Participate in all the testing phases to positively impact lead time to value with agentic testing capabilities and leveraging the AI Test Harnesses applied within the QE space.
Contribute towards key DORA metrics such as test coverage, defect trends, test effectiveness and execution health, flakiness, and regression rates. Use these insights to continually refine the quality practices and guide investments in automation and infrastructure.
