Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bring a vision for tackling undefined business problems, and build a clear path when the strategy isn’t set in stone. You will take ownership of cross-functional, large-scale projects and handle complexity with ease while guiding teams to build simple, efficient systems. Your expertise doesn’t just drive projects; it also drives culture, productivity, and the growth of the engineering team.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)
  • Define technical strategy for projects that span multiple teams, aligning architecture with broader company objectives.
  • Take ownership of organization-wide challenges, ensuring smooth project rollouts and removing roadblocks before they appear.
  • Champion high standards for code quality, testing, and CI/CD, mentoring engineers across teams and driving the adoption of best practices.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the tech world, assessing new technologies and competitive products to keep our systems ahead.
  • Collaborate closely with team leads and managers, giving feedback that supports team and organizational goals.
  • Mentor and guide engineers across teams, simplify complex architectures for maximum efficiency.
What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)
  • 8+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, MongoDB, RabbitMQ and Redis, with the strategic vision to guide projects at a high level.
  • Extensive experience in software development, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing high-quality, complex software systems.
  • Strong background in architecting solutions across teams, with a focus on Clean Architecture and microservices to establish scalable, efficient systems and set technical standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence technical direction, driving the adoption of best practices, and setting technical standards within and across teams.
  • High-level communication skills that cut through complexity and foster cross-team collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges effectively.
  • Working proficiency in English and Spanish (fluency in both will be a plus).
Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Expertise in JMeter for QA, Git submodules for complex version control scenarios, and Umbraco CMS for frontend integration.
  • Airline industry experience or deep SaaS expertise.
  • Ability to influence product quality and operational efficiency at an organization-wide level.
