Zipdev is seeking a Social Editor to join our creative team in Bogotá, focusing on producing engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You will edit, craft motion graphics, and repurpose footage to align with client goals while staying ahead of trends.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of editing experience and is proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a passion for storytelling in fast-moving social environments.

Formación

• 1-2 years of professional editing experience in digital marketing, social media, or agency settings.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for motion graphics, typography animation and VFX.
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and CapCut.
• Strong understanding of short-form content trends, pacing and storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple edits with speed and quality; detail-oriented and organized.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from senior team members.

Responsabilidades

• Edit and deliver engaging short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
• Create dynamic motion graphics, typography animations, and visual effects to enhance social content and drive engagement.
• Repurpose existing footage into platform-specific edits reflecting trends, client voice and campaign goals.
• Stay on top of cultural and platform trends, integrating music, memes and editing techniques.
• Create multiple versions and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) to fit platform requirements.
• Collaborate with Creative Leads and Account Managers to meet creative and client standards.
• Ensure accuracy in timing, captions, graphics and sound across all assets.

You'll collaborate with designers, strategists, and producers to craft culturally relevant, scroll-stopping content that drives results for our clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Edit and deliver engaging short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
• Create dynamic motion graphics, typography animations, and visual effects to enhance social content and drive engagement.
• Repurpose existing footage into platform-specific edits that reflect trends, client voice, and campaign goals.
• Stay on top of cultural and platform trends, integrating music, memes, and editing techniques that resonate with audiences.
• Create multiple versions and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) to fit platform requirements and campaign specs.
• Collaborate with Creative Leads and Account Managers to ensure all deliverables meet creative and client standards.
• Ensure accuracy in timing, captions, graphics, and sound across all final assets.

• 1-2 years of professional editing experience, ideally in a digital marketing, social media, or agency environment (internship experience considered).
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for motion graphics, typography animation, and visual effects.
• Familiarity with social platforms and their native editing features (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Capcut).
• Strong understanding of short-form content trends, pacing, and storytelling.
