Job summary

AgileEngine is building a Strategic talent pool for Shopify leadership roles. This remote-first position focuses on guiding Shopify practice, mentoring developers, and partnering with sales for pre-sales efforts.

You will lead teams through Shopify store implementations, set coding standards, and translate business goals into technical roadmaps while driving growth for Fortune 500 and startup clients. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in e-commerce
Experience leading development teams and mentoring
Ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience supporting sales discussions and scoping projects
English proficiency and remote collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Architect and oversee Shopify stores, apps, and integrations end-to-end.
Lead scalable, secure solutions; establish coding standards and proofs of concept.
Mentor developers during initial project phases and review code.
Translate client goals into prioritized technical roadmaps and deliverables.
Provide guidance on conversion optimization, UX/UI, and SEO.
Collaborate with sales, design, product, and marketing teams.
Ensure performance, SEO, and CRO best practices across designs and apps.
Stay updated with Shopify updates, headless frameworks, and integrations.
