Fetchly Labs is a dynamic technology company specializing in innovative eCommerce solutions. We focus on delivering high-quality, user-centric online stores leveraging the Shopify platform in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

We are seeking an experienced Shopify developer to build, customize, and optimize storefronts. You will implement responsive design, integrate APIs, collaborate with designers and engineers, and ensure SEO best practices.

Formación

• 2–3 years (Mid) or 5+ years (Senior) in Shopify development.
• Strong knowledge of ecommerce development and Shopify platform capabilities.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and customize Shopify themes to build storefronts.
• Implement responsive design for optimal experiences across devices.
• Integrate external and internal APIs to enhance functionality.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to translate requirements into functional web elements.
• Optimize sites following SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues to ensure reliability and performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Shopify features and ecommerce trends.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes to build visually appealing and user-friendly online storefronts.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experiences across all devices.
• Integrate third-party and internal APIs to enhance site functionality and maintain seamless operations.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to translate project requirements into functional web elements.
• Optimize websites in compliance with SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues to ensure site reliability and performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Shopify features and eCommerce trends to incorporate best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience for Intermediate level or 5+ years for Senior level in Shopify development.
• Solid understanding of eCommerce development and platform capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English at an intermediate to fluent level.
• College degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in related disciplines.
• Experience with advanced Shopify features such as Shopify Plus.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks related to front-end or back-end development.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Prior experience working in agile or scrum environments.
