Hook Agency is seeking a Colombia-based SEO professional to join a remote role with high communication expectations. You will perform keyword research, content calendars, and optimization tasks while collaborating with our SEO strategists to drive account performance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in technical SEO, familiarity with GA and Ahrefs, and an analytical mindset. This is a full-time remote contractor role within a US-based agency, with a 30-day probationary period and standard

• Must be located in Colombia, fluent in English (C1+), and comfortable with remote work.
• Available to work 9:00am–5:00pm CST.
• Must commit to this as your only full-time employment.
• Four-year degree (any major).
• At least 1 year of technical SEO experience (2 preferred).
• Familiarity with Google Analytics & Ahrefs.
• Analytical mindset and data interpretation skills.
• Agency experience valued but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Complete technical tasks assigned by SEO Strategists.
• Work closely with in-house SEO Strategists to understand account performance.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings, Monday team L10, and weekly one-on-ones with supervisor (camera on).
• Track work and deadlines in Teamwork; communicate in Slack.

• First + foremost: This person must be located in Colombia, be fluent in English at a level C1 or higher, and be comfortable working a remote position with high communication expectations
• Must be able to work 9:00a - 5:00p (Central Standard Time)
• Can commit to this position being your only full-time employment
• Have a four-year degree (any major)
• At least 1 year of technical SEO experience, 2 is preferred (not copywriting)
• Familiarity with Google Analytics & Ahrefs
• Have an analytical mind and enjoy working with numbers and interpreting data
• Previous professional working experience, especially with an agency, is a bonus but not a requirement

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform keyword research
• Setup content calendars
• Perform status checks on SEO accounts
• Perform content optimization
• Create internal linking
• Complete technical tasks assigned by SEO Strategists
• Work closely with our in-house SEO Strategists to understand account performance
• Participate in daily stand‑up meetings to show progress on your work as well as Monday morning team L10 meetings and weekly one‑on‑ones with your direct supervisor (with your camera on)
• Track your work and deadlines in Teamwork and communicate in Slack

This is a remote independent contractor position with a U.S.-based digital marketing agency that values team culture and solid work ethic. We believe in working hard and taking full ownership of our roles, and the ideal candidate for this position will feel strongly about those same things, no matter the distance. The salary for this role is $15,000 USD annually (approximately $4.58 million COP monthly). All roles at Hook Agency, both regular and contract, are subject to a 30-day probationary period.
