Job summary

Kake, a remote-first company of senior engineers, is seeking a Senior Workday Developer to own end-to-end Workday configurations, integrations, and reporting in a remote setup. You’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Workday development, strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP, and advanced reporting; experience with HCM/Financials and Workday Extend is a

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday development experience.
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP).
• Advanced reporting skills (matrix, composite, BIRT) and security configuration.
• Experience in Workday HCM and/or Financials; Extend exposure is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong remote-work capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Workday solutions across HCM, Financials, and related modules (EIB).
• Design and build integrations between Workday and internal/third-party systems.
• Develop custom applications and workflow enhancements, including Workday Extend when applicable.
• Build advanced reports and dashboards to support business needs.
• Configure and maintain business processes and security models in line with compliance.
• Support Workday releases, enhancements, and deployments across tenants.
• Troubleshoot configuration, reporting, and data issues; drive improvements.
• Collaborate with functional and business teams to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions.

• AdvancedWorkdayreportingskills,includingmatrix,composite,andBIRTreportsandcomplexcalculatedfields.
• Solid understanding of Workday security configuration and the business process framework.
• Experience with Workday HCM and/or Financials modules, preferably with hands-on exposure to Workday Extend.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex configuration, reporting, and data issues.
• ExcellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsinEnglish.
• Abilitytoworkindependentlyinaremote,fast-pacedenvironment.
