Senior UI/UX Designer, Colombia or México (Contractor and temporary position)

Overview: We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer, who has experience working in multicultural teams and is fluent in English and Spanish. You will be part of the CI&T team but in the Contractor model with an expected duration of 2 months, it is a temporary position. The UX/UI Designer is responsible for understanding the needs of the user and the business. The designer will be translating and defining those needs into stunning wireframes, interfaces, and prototypes for digital products from concept through creation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve problems through design. You will use design thinking to help identify unmet needs or untapped opportunities—and turn them into strategic visions for clients and internal teams.
• Create wireframes, user flows, sitemaps, specifications and other UX design deliverables.
• Design intuitive interfaces through high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
• Create and expand design systems and style guides.
• Document specifications for handoff.

Requirements

• Experience solving, designing and creating for diverse digital products and services.
• Experience creating visual design assets such as icons, illustrations, and UI elements.
• Experience with creating and designing with design systems and style guides.
• An understanding of the user-centered design process (UCD).
• An understanding of solving business challenges with design solutions.
• Demonstrate expert Spanish language skills and have advanced/fluent English proficiency.
• Functional expertise in Figma.

Desired Skills

• Living or have lived in Mexico is a plus.
• Solid foundation and experience in visual design.
• Storytelling and design presentation skills.
• User Testing in Maze.
• Solid understanding of the basic principles for user research, rapid prototyping, and designing for a variety of digital interfaces.
