Job summary

AECOM Bogotá office is seeking a Structural Engineer with a focus on data center facilities to join our Building Engineering team. You will participate in the structural design of buildings, develop models and calculations, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.

You will collaborate with architects, geotechnical, piping, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure high-quality project delivery while staying current with industry standards and new technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
4+ years of proven technical experience in structural engineering for concrete and steel.
Experience with international standards and multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Participate in the structural design of buildings, including data centers.
Develop mathematical models, calculations, and reports.
Design concrete and steel systems for data centers with attention to load, vibration, redundancy.
Collaborate across disciplines to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
