Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced database structures aligned with system architecture.
• Improve system performance through analysis and optimization.
• Develop and implement complex systems using queries, scripts, tables, and Cloud technologies, ensuring secure data management.
• Create, test, and deploy database code such as queries, scripts, and stored procedures to meet system needs.
• Manage data pipelines, ensuring data flow, integrity, and transformation using modern engineering tools.
• Collaborate with project teams to translate requirements into effective database solutions from inception to deployment.
• Lead database lifecycle management, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Balance data volume, user load, response times, and security to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Database Engineer in similar scope projects.
• Five years of experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Expertise in relational and Object-Oriented database design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud methodologies, database parsing, and optimization techniques.
• Proven leadership in database project management through all development phases.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, scripting, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Certifications:

• Security+

Position requires Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Compensation: $172,000 - $222,000. Compensation offers are based on experience, education, and skills.
