Accelya is seeking a Senior Specialist - Project Management in Bogota, Colombia. You will lead complex projects, manage senior stakeholders and apply expert PM skills to ensure delivery excellence.

Requirements include 5–7 years in senior PM, PMP or equivalent, Bachelor's in Business/IT, and fluent English. The role supports hybrid work with 2 days in office weekly and leverages AI-enhanced PM tools.

Role Purpose

As Senior Specialist - Project Management at Accelya, you will lead complex projects, managing senior stakeholder relationships and applying expert project management skills to ensure outstanding delivery outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-workstream projects, managing senior stakeholder relationships and applying expert project governance
• Apply advanced risk management, change control and financial management practices to ensure project delivery integrity
• Use AI-enhanced project management tools for sophisticated portfolio analytics, resource optimisation and predictive risk identification
• Use generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT or equivalent, Copilot) for executive-quality project reporting, business case documentation and stakeholder communication
• Lead project post-mortems, producing actionable lessons learned that improve the project management community's capability
• Mentor junior project managers, sharing expertise in governance, stakeholder management and delivery methodology
• Represent project management best practices across the organisation, contributing to PM community of practice

Required Experience & Skills

• 5–7 years of senior project management experience, including complex multi-workstream delivery
• Expert PM skills including advanced risk management and financial control
• Experience with AI-enhanced project management tools
• Strong leadership and executive communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field; PMP or equivalent required
• Fluent English: Interviews will be held in this language

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Strong experience with AI-powered project management tools for advanced portfolio analytics, predictive risk management and automated reporting
• Use of generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT or equivalent) for executive-quality project documentation, business case development and strategic communications
• Deep knowledge of airline technology project delivery and the governance approaches used by leading airline software providers
• Understanding of how AI is transforming project management — including AI-assisted risk identification, resource optimisation and intelligent stakeholder reporting
