Bluelight is seeking a skilled software engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Colombia. You will develop high-quality applications, owning full-stack delivery and collaborating with cross-functional teams on challenging projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Python back-end frameworks, React front-end, and PostgreSQL data models, while adopting Agile practices to ship reliable software for financial reporting and data visualization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django) and building complex, service-oriented server logic.
• Frontend: Modern JavaScript/TypeScript development utilizing ReactJS for scalable interactive web applications.
• Data Access: Heavy experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), data storage systems, and advanced data-access models.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Ownership: Architect, test, and ship end-to-end full-stack software solutions to fulfill complex financial reporting and data visualization needs.
• Optimization: Refactor existing software continuously using Agile methodologies to improve overall maintainability and speed.
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data engineering teams to safely extract, parse, and serve multi-billion-dollar private asset analytics.
