Oowlish, a Latin American software development company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join a product-focused team building impactful solutions in the mental healthcare space. You will own features end-to-end, work across the full stack, and collaborate closely with Product and cross-functional teams.

You will write high-quality code, think in terms of product impact and scalable delivery, and actively use AI tools to accelerate development for a worldwide presence.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience shipping complex features in production systems.
• Proven track record of end-to-end ownership of technical initiatives.
• Experience contributing to 0 → 1 product development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, ECS).
• Proficiency using AI tools in daily development workflows.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Passion for improving healthcare outcomes.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a product-focused engineering team building impactful solutions in the mental healthcare space. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute directly to the development of a modern platform, working across the full stack and collaborating closely with Product and cross-functional teams. You will take ownership of features from concept to production, helping shape both the technical direction and the user experience.

We are looking for engineers who are not only write high-quality code, but also think in terms of product impact, scalability, and real-world outcomes. Experience working with AI tools as part of your daily workflow is a key component of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs
• Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling and query optimization
• Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS (ECS preferred)

• Passion or interest in improving mental healthcare outcomes

• Experience in HIPAA-regulated healthcare or fintech environments
