Capgemini Engineering, a leader in engineering services, seeks a backend-focused software developer to join a global team delivering scalable systems on AWS. You will design, build, and maintain services, participate in reviews, and partner with product managers, data scientists, and designers.

Requirements include 3–5 years of backend experience with Java or Kotlin, Spring Boot, GraphQL, and experience with databases (MongoDB Atlas or Aurora MySQL).

Formación

• 3–5 years of professional backend software development experience.
• Java and/or Kotlin.
• MongoDB Atlas or similar NoSQL database experience.
• Aurora MySQL on AWS or similar relational database experience.
• Cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Spring Boot.
• GraphQL API development (Netflix DGS).
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance, resilient systems.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Take on lower-priority engineering work the team lacks bandwidth for, including compliance, maintenance, cost-savings, observability, and tooling.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design, validating solutions through data and experimentation.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
• Clarify requirements and perform mid-level design work, focusing on coding, testing, and documentation.
