The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Colombia seeks a Senior Shelter and Settlements Cluster Associate to coordinate and monitor administrative, operational, and information management activities within the cluster under the supervision of the Emergency Coordinator.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 7 years of experience.
• Experience supporting humanitarian coordination mechanisms, clusters, or sectoral working groups.
• Experience in emergency preparedness or displacement programming.
• Proficiency in information management, reporting, monitoring, or data analysis.
• Experience with government institutions, UN agencies, NGOs, and humanitarian actors.
• Experience in Colombia or similar complex humanitarian settings is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate administrative and operational arrangements for cluster meetings and working groups.
• Collect, consolidate, and submit cluster inputs; monitor timelines and follow-up issues.
• Maintain effective communication with cluster partners and facilitate information exchange.
• Monitor implementation of workplans and coordination activities; analyze partner information to identify gaps and needs; prepare recommendations.
• Collaborate with other humanitarian sectors and contribute to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Support preparedness initiatives and capacity-building activities; promote technical standards; prepare communication materials.
