Constructora Ariguaní S.A.S is seeking an experienced SDET / Test Automation Engineer in Valledupar, Colombia, to lead automated testing amidst modernization from .NET 6 to .NET 10. You will work with developers, QA engineers, and the Tech Lead to build scalable frameworks, improve quality, and ensure reliable releases.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining automation, integrating tests into CI/CD, and validating upgrades and API/back-end services.

Formación

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
6+ years of experience in SDET, test automation, or QA engineering roles.
Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
Experience testing web applications built with .NET, React, and TypeScript technologies.
Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Experience working with Git-based repositories, Jira, and Agile teams.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect management.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Collaborate with developers and QA to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
Participate in manual testing to achieve full coverage of updated applications.
Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects and quality issues.
Validate upgrades and compatibility changes introduced during modernization.
Execute test automation against web apps, APIs, and supporting services.
Analyze test results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
Promote automation best practices and continuous quality improvement across teams.
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including plans, cases, results, defects, and release readiness.
