AgileEngine, an Inc. 5000 company, is seeking a Senior SDET to strengthen quality across web and API layers using Java, REST Assured, and Playwright. This role blends a developer mindset with shift-left testing, embedding automation into CI/CD pipelines.

You will build testing practices from the ground up in a fast-moving engineering environment, mentor others, and help ensure top-tier reliability and release quality across squads.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java (developer-first QA).
• Extensive experience using REST Assured for backend testing.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Deep understanding of the shift-left approach and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical direction on quality initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web and API layers.
• Define the automation strategy, ensuring high test coverage and reliable release cycles within squads.
• Create comprehensive API automation suites to ensure integrity of microservices.
• Implement and manage frontend automation scripts to ensure a top-tier user experience.
• Mentor other engineers on testing best practices and foster a quality-first culture.
