AgileEngine is seeking a Senior SDET to build and maintain web and API automation frameworks from the ground up, defining the automation strategy within squads.

You will design scalable test frameworks, drive coverage across backend and frontend layers, and mentor peers on testing best practices while contributing to a quality-first culture. Flexible remote/office options and USD-based compensation accompany modern, Fortune 500-level projects.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET Engineer.
• Strong Java programming skills (developer-first QA).
• Extensive REST Assured experience for backend testing.
• Hands-on Playwright experience.
• Deep understanding of shift-left testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and guide quality initiatives.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior SDET to build and maintain Web and API automation frameworks from scratch and define the automation strategy within the squads.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java (a "developer-first" approach to QA).
• Extensive experience using REST Assured for backend testing.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Deep understanding of the "shift-left" approach and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical direction on quality initiatives.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Previous experience in the Loyalty or Fintech sectors.
• Experience with performance or load testing (e.g., JMeter or Gatling).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and SQL for data validation within test scripts.
• Experience working with mocking frameworks.
