BairesDev is a leading technology company with a global remote team. A Senior Ruby & Ruby on Rails Engineer will build and maintain robust server-side web applications, translating business requirements into efficient APIs.

You will design scalable systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to deployment best practices while working remotely with USD or local currency compensation and flexible hours.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering or Ruby development experience.
• Expertise in Ruby on Rails with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and ORMs (Active Record).
• Proficient with GitHub version control.
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance web applications and backend services.
• Optimize server-side logic and database interactions for speed and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate secure, well-structured RESTful APIs.
• Lead version control workflows and establish best practices for code quality and deployments.
• Translate complex product requirements into clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
