Qualifications

• Recent senior-level Ruby on Rails experience.
• Hands-on AWS expertise and Kafka/event-driven knowledge.
• Experience with enterprise applications or products, evolving existing apps.
• Fluent English for direct collaboration with US-based teams.
• RSpec testing and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve business logic, models, migrations and APIs (REST/GraphQL) in an existing Rails application.
• Implement event producers and consumers with Apache Kafka for asynchronous flows between services.
• Design scalable APIs for the mobile app ecosystem and deploy on AWS infrastructure.
• Build resilient integration layers with Salesforce and Sage ERP.
• Write unit and integration tests (RSpec) and deliver feature increments in Agile sprints.
• Estimate story points, design technical tasks and safeguard system performance and API stability.
• Collaborate with Product, QA and the client's internal team in an integrated working model.
