Job summary

Zoe Financial is seeking a QA Test Engineer for our Bogota, Colombia office. You will own testing from inception to completion, focusing on creating robust systems and automating where possible.

A strong tester who cares about product quality will thrive in our fast-paced environment and help cross-functional teams deliver reliable features. Responsibilities include crafting comprehensive test plans, designing automated scripts, and ensuring alignment with business needs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in software quality assurance with manual and automated testing.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and testing types: functional, regression, integration, performance.
• Experience with QA automation tools and JavaScript test automation (Cypress/Playwright).
• RESTful API/JSON testing; SQL querying; Proficiency with Postman.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design docs for feedback.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Identify defects and ensure timely resolution with product/engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testability and performance.
