EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to design and evolve web services powering financial technology workflows. You will build and deploy backend APIs using Python and Flask, operating in a fast-paced, distributed global team environment.

You will lead system design across microservices, data models, and API contracts, while driving refactoring to improve critical financial systems. Strong test automation and AWS/Docker experience are required.

Formación

• 3+ years of Python experience with Flask and related web frameworks.
• Cloud experience using Amazon Web Services.
• Containerization experience with Docker.
• Strong system design expertise across microservices, database modelling, and API design.
• Proven experience leading refactoring or redesign initiatives on critical systems.
• Strong test automation skills including unit tests and manual integration testing.
• Hands-on experience delivering complex, high-stakes applications in agile teams.
• Strong collaboration skills with code reviews and peer learning practices.
• Financial services domain knowledge including payments, wire transfers, reconciliations, or cash management.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with distributed global teams.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2, Upper-Intermediate)
