Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional backend software development in Python.
• Strong knowledge of Python core concepts (OOP, FP, memory management, async, data structures).
• Experience building production-grade REST APIs and distributed microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORM usage.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Pytest.
• Advanced Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, branching, code reviews).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to design and build scalable microservices and REST APIs, working closely with Product, DevOps, and Frontend teams.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of professional backend software development experience using Python.
• Deep understanding of Python core concepts (OOP, functional programming, memory management, async/concurrency, and data structures).
• API & Microservices: Proven track record of building and deploying production-grade REST APIs and distributed microservices architectures.
• Databases: Strong proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Testing: Commitment to writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Pytest.
• Version Control: Advanced proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows (Pull Requests, branching strategies, code reviews).

NICE TO HAVES

• CI/CD & DevOps Tools: Solid hands-on experience with Docker (writing optimized Dockerfiles and Docker Compose).
• Highly desirable experience setting up and managing GitHub Actions workflows for automated testing and deployment.
