EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Python Backend Developer to build robust AI-powered API services and orchestration layers. You will own API contracts, design RAG pipelines, and connect agent tools within a secure, scalable distributed system.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure observability, test coverage, and graceful handling of AI edge cases, delivering enterprise-grade backend workflows at scale.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python for high-performance backend services and cloud-native APIs.
• Experience integrating AI models and LLM orchestration with backend services.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, security fundamentals, and auth/authz.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

We are seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer to build robust AI-powered API services and agentic workflows, focusing on language model interaction with internal systems, vector databases, and external tools via orchestration frameworks.
