Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Mobile) to design, build, and maintain automated mobile tests using Robot Framework and Appium. You will validate tests on Sauce Labs, simulators, emulators, and real devices with a focus on iOS first, then Android.

Strong Python skills for custom keywords and framework extensions are required, along with experience piping results into Jira Xray and PDF metadata validation. English B2+ is expected, in a global team setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mobile QA automation experience.
• Expertise in Robot Framework for test automation design and execution.
• Proficiency in Appium for mobile testing (iOS and Android) including device capabilities.
• Python for developing custom keywords and extending automation frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with Sauce Labs or similar cloud-based testing platforms.
• Familiarity with local simulators/emulators and physical devices.
• Knowledge of Xcode, Android Studio, and ADB tooling for mobile test environments.
• Experience integrating automated results with Jira Xray.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated mobile tests using Robot Framework and Appium.
• Execute tests on Sauce Labs, local simulators/emulators, and physical devices.
• Prioritize iOS test coverage first, then extend automation to Android.
• Configure Appium capabilities for different environments and devices.
• Implement test reporting, including PDF metadata validation.
• Manage test results in Jira Xray and defect lifecycle.
