Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement scalable ML systems in cloud environments. You will architect end-to-end ML solutions, from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring, while containerizing workloads with Docker and Kubernetes for training, batch inference, and real-time serving.

You will lead data pipelines, experiments, and model lifecycles using MLflow/Databricks, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience building, deploying, and scaling ML systems.
• Strong Python, SQL, and PySpark for distributed data processing.
• Hands-on with Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and XGBoost.
• Experience designing production ML pipelines with MLflow or similar tools.
• Experience deploying ML solutions in AWS, Azure, GCP, or Databricks.
• Understanding of end-to-end ML lifecycles from data ingestion to monitoring.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized ML workloads.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable, production-grade ML systems in cloud environments.
• Architect and deliver end-to-end ML solutions from ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
• Design and manage containerized ML workloads using Docker and Kubernetes for training, batch inference, and real-time serving.
• Oversee large-scale data pipelines processing multi-terabyte datasets for reliability and performance.
• Lead experimentation strategies including A/B testing, model validation, and lifecycle management with MLflow/Databricks.
• Drive continuous model improvement through automated retraining, monitoring, bias mitigation, and optimization.
• Evaluate and prototype emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and architectures.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Leadership to align ML initiatives with business goals.
• Establish engineering standards, code quality practices, and technical docs.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across ML initiatives.
