Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Surveyor or minimum 6 years in engineering/inspection with an IACS member Classification Society.
• Understanding of RINA strategic technical positioning in the marine sector.
• Proficiency in English commensurate with classification, certification, related services.
• Ability to read engineering plans and knowledge of shipbuilding practices.
• Ability to understand and apply RINA Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a professional specialist, applying in-depth knowledge of Rules, Regulations, and industry concepts.
• Conducts routine surveys on classed ships, offshore installations, or marine assets to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.
• Plans, schedules, and coordinates various phases of surveying work.
• Engages with clients to solve problems within the area of expertise and ensures client satisfaction.
• Provides guidance and training to less experienced surveyors and contributes to team development.
• Ensures the maintenance of quality, content, consistency, and continuity of work performed.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards in all professional interactions, ensuring integrity and transparency.
