PALO IT in Bogotá is seeking a Senior Manual QA to lead testing across product lifecycles, designing and executing manual test cases for functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing. You will analyze requirements, prepare test plans and data, report defects with clear reproduction steps, and maintain QA documentation while collaborating closely with Business Analysts.

Formación

• 6+ years of QA experience, with at least 4+ years focused on manual testing.
• Strong experience designing and executing manual test cases and test plans for complex applications.
• Solid knowledge of defect management, regression testing, environments, and test data preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret logs and support troubleshooting with the development team.
• Very strong documentation skills: you keep test artifacts organized, clear, and up to date.
• Experience working with BAs to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.

Responsabilidades

• Design, document, and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze requirements and user stories to ensure they are testable and aligned with business needs.
• Prepare test plans, test data, and test environments, coordinating with development and operations as needed.
• Execute tests, report defects with reproduction steps, impact, severity, and evidence; follow up through resolution.
• Analyze logs and use debugging tools to identify root causes (frontend, backend, data, environment).
• Maintain QA documentation: test cases, execution results, defect reports, regression packs, KPIs, release notes.
