ScotiaTech in Bogotá is seeking a Senior Manager Delivery who thrives on helping teams deliver data products. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, ensure alignment with banking requirements, data quality, and regulatory standards while guiding Agile processes.

You will partner with Data Engineering and international banking stakeholders, remove blockers, mentor teams in Agile practices, and report KPIs to leadership to drive continuous delivery improvements.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years in Agile project management or Scrum Master roles, with at least 3 years focused on data projects.
• Proven track record delivering data products or solutions in banking/financial services, with regulatory knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps and data engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and banking compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end data product delivery aligned with banking requirements and data quality standards.
• Act as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and removing impediments.
• Serve as primary liaison between Data Engineering teams and international banking stakeholders.
• Coach data engineering teams to adopt Agile practices and improve delivery outcomes.
• Track and report KPIs such as sprint velocity and product quality to leadership.
• Drive process optimization to align with organizational goals.

What will you do?

• Data Product Delivery: Oversee end-to-end delivery of data products, ensuring alignment with banking requirements, data quality standards, and regulatory compliance
• Agile Process Leadership: Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies
• Stakeholder Facilitation: Serve as the primary liaison between Data Engineering teams and international banking stakeholders, including business units, compliance teams, and senior leadership.
• Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve blockers to team progress, whether technical, process-related, or stakeholder-driven, to maintain delivery momentum.
• Team Empowerment: Coach and mentor Data Engineering teams to adopt Agile best practices, foster a culture of collaboration, and enhance technical and soft skills to improve delivery outcomes.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sprint velocity, data product quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. Use insights to drive process optimization and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

What do you need?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project management or Scrum Master roles, with at least 3 years focused on data-related projects (e.g., data engineering, data analytics, or data warehousing).
• Proven track record of delivering data products or solutions in the banking or financial services industry, with knowledge of international banking regulations (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) and data engineering workflows (e.g., ETL processes, data pipelines, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and compliance requirements in banking.
