EPAM Systems in Colombia is seeking a Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Developer to build and evolve an internal developer portal with a focus on TypeScript standards, frontend architecture, and cloud-based delivery. You will lead spec-driven execution, collaborate across distributed teams, and raise engineering quality through reviews and mentorship.

Formación

• 3+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript full-stack experience with Node.js.
• Cloud platform experience including application hosting and deployment.
• Senior-level leadership experience providing technical direction and code review.
• Strong project ownership with distributed teams.
• Advanced Node.js backend development for APIs and integrations.
• Strong TypeScript skills with emphasis on standards and performance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in cross-functional environments.
• English proficiency: B2 Upper-Intermediate.

Responsabilidades

• Design frontend architecture including component structure and state management.
• Define TypeScript standards and performance best practices for the portal.
• Build Node.js services and integrations supporting the developer platform.
• Implement spec-driven development mapping features to approved specs.
• Review code and enforce quality, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions across the team.
• Integrate internal tooling and platform extensions to streamline SDLC workflows.
• Coordinate delivery across distributed teams with a 2pm PST shift overlap.

Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Developer

We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Developer to build and evolve an internal developer portal with a strong focus on TypeScript standards, frontend architecture, and cloud-based delivery. You will lead spec-driven execution, collaborate across distributed teams, and raise engineering quality through reviews and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Design frontend architecture decisions including component structure and state management
• Define TypeScript standards and performance best practices for the portal
• Build Node.js services and integrations that support the developer platform
• Implement spec-driven development so each feature maps back to an approved spec
• Review code and enforce quality, security, and maintainability standards
• Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions across the team
• Integrate internal tooling and platform extensions to streamline SDLC workflows
• Coordinate delivery across distributed teams with a required work-hour shift until 2pm PST

Requirements

• 3+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript fullstack experience with Node.js
• Cloud platform experience including application hosting and deployment
• Senior-level leadership experience providing technical direction and code review
• Strong project ownership skills working independently across distributed teams
• Advanced Node.js backend development skills for APIs and integrations
• Strong TypeScript skills with attention to standards and performance
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
• English proficiency: B2 Upper-Intermediate

Nice to have

• Backstage experience including plugin and template development
• Elastic Stack or Elasticsearch integration experience
• Terraform experience including running or automating Terraform scripts
• Google Cloud Platform experience
• Web application hosting and Node.js deployment experience
