Publicis Production in Bogotá is seeking a Senior Back End Engineer with strong Java and microservices experience to design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and services. You will collaborate with frontend, QA, and operations teams to ensure performance, reliability, and quality.

The role requires deep knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, relational databases, and CI/CD tooling. Mentorship and agile practices are part of the job as you help raise code standards across the team.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on back-end Java experience.
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and microservices patterns.
• Designing & consuming REST APIs with security best practices.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and microservices using Java and Spring.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for frontend integration.
• Define architecture, design patterns, and decisions for scalability and robustness.
• Write unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) and perform code reviews.
• Optimize DB queries/schemas in MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server; consider NoSQL integrations.
• Automate build/deploy (Maven/Gradle, CI/CD) and manage Docker containers.
• Collaborate with frontend teams for smooth API integration and stable contracts.
• Monitor performance, observability, and resilience of services.
• Document designs, APIs, and runbooks; mentor junior developers.
