StoneX Group Inc. is hiring a senior software engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend services for LATAM markets. You will own features end-to-end, build integrations with exchanges and data providers, and drive data pipelines for regulatory reporting.

The role requires cloud experience (AWS/Azure), Docker/Kubernetes, and strong API design skills, with English plus Portuguese/Spanish proficiency. Hybrid work in Bogotá, Colombia; collaboration across time zones is essential.

Formación

• Professional software engineer with ownership of production systems.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, Java or Python and a second language.
• SQL and relational databases with tuning and data modeling.
• Experience designing APIs and integrating distributed systems; Kafka/RabbitMQ familiarity.
• Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and monitoring/observability tooling.
• English proficiency; fluent Portuguese and/or Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement backend services and APIs for LATAM markets.
• Own features end to end: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Build integrations with exchanges, market data providers, and global platforms.
• Develop data pipelines and reconciliation for regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical documentation.
• Improve observability and CI/CD maturity; reduce toil through automation.
• Participate in code reviews and set quality and security standards.
• Support incident response with root-cause analysis and preventive follow-up.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers; collaborate with global teams.
• Coordinate with distributed teams across time zones in English.
