EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Java backend engineer in Colombia to design and scale backend services with Spring Boot, build RESTful APIs for web and mobile apps, and drive microservices architecture. You will optimize databases and integrate external platforms while collaborating across global teams.

The role requires strong Java/Spring Boot skills, REST API design, and experience with CI/CD practices within an Agile environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Solid REST API design knowledge.
• Microservices architecture expertise.
• Relational database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• JPA/Hibernate experience or similar persistence frameworks.
• Strong Agile/Scrum collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2).
