EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to modernize and maintain enterprise gateway applications with a backend-first focus and support across Angular frontends. You will strengthen security, quality, and performance through continuous improvements.

The role involves developing Java Spring Boot services, maintaining Angular applications, and addressing vulnerabilities while collaborating with multi-national teams on innovative projects worldwide.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience maintaining Angular applications (Angular 8+ preferred).
• Practical experience remediating security vulnerabilities using scanning tools.
• Code quality experience with tools such as CAST or SonarQube.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ownership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Java Spring Boot backend services and REST APIs.
• Maintain and enhance Angular frontends across legacy and modern versions.
• Resolve security vulnerabilities identified by scanning and auditing tools.
• Fix defects and production issues while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Refactor code and perform dependency upgrades to improve maintainability.
• Implement framework updates and support modernization initiatives.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and security posture.
• Participate in code reviews and follow secure software development practices.
• Collaborate with technical leads, QA engineers, architects, and security teams.
• Address code quality findings and drive continuous improvement actions.
